In
1948, George D. Force Sr. and G. Dexter Force started selling
tools and equipment from the back of their station wagons.
When the garage and chicken coop got too small, Force Machinery
moved to Route 22 in Union in 1956. The original store has
been expanded 5 times and an adjacent 10,000 square foot
warehouse was purchased.
